McDonalds Monopoly 2024 Dates
McDonald’s Monopoly started on Wednesday 4th September 2024. It’s then set to finish on Tuesday 15th October.
After the game ends, you still have until Tuesday 29th October 2024 to collect your prizes.
McDonalds Monopoly Prizes
The top prize in McDonalds Monopoly 2024 is £100,000 cash. Players have five chances to win this top prize. Other prizes include electric cars, holidays worth £2,000 each, Merlin annual passes, TV bundles and more.
To win many of the big prizes, you need to collect a full set of coloured Monopoly properties. You need both of the Dark Blue properties, Mayfair and Park Lane to win the £100k cash, for example, though you can also win it instantly.
You could also win instantly with smaller prizes including cash, gift cards, McDonalds Gold Cards, cinema tickets and, of course, food prizes.
There are also lots of discount vouchers that give you money off your purchases at McDonalds and a host of other retail stores.

We know that at least two of the £100k prizes in 2023 were claimed, along with plenty of others. So yes, you can actually win!
How to play
McDonalds Monopoly 2024 is called ‘Power Peel’. This is a little different than the Double Peel game that we saw in 2022 and 2023. But really, not much has changed.
As well as peeling the stickers attached to food, when you enter your stickers into the app you get to peel again.
The McDonalds app is very important. As well as giving you extra chances to win, it’s a place to store your property stickers in the Monopoly Wallet, and it’s how you redeem your prizes.
A couple of things are new for 2024. Firstly, there’s a weekly cash draw where you could win £20k – this is called Mayfair Monday. Peel in the app on a Monday for your chance to win the cash!
And also, there’s an extra little bonus – if you scan 30 property codes in the app, you’ll unlock 1,500 McDonalds Rewards Points to enjoy.

McDonalds Monopoly Boards
Paper McDonalds Monopoly gameboards are a thing of the past. No longer do you need to stick your stickers to the board. In fact, the stickers of 2024 aren’t even sticky!
Instead, there’s an online Monopoly board inside the McDonalds app…
You can still use the app to keep track of your properties. Just tap on ‘My Collections’ and you can see what you have and what you still need to collect.
Which McDonalds Items Have Monopoly Stickers
Not everything you buy at McDonalds has stickers. So if you want to play the game then you should take a look at this list of qualifying items so that you know what to buy.
When you buy a McDonalds meal, you either get four or six stickers, depending on which meal you bought.
If you really want to boost your chances of winning, the best tactic is buying a side order of Mozzarella dippers or a McFlurry for two extra stickers on each.
Rare McDonalds Monopoly Pieces
The key to understanding how McDonalds Monopoly works is to know that there is not an equal number of each property printed. In fact, the rarest properties have just four stickers printed with one more to find in the app. This is how McDonalds limits the number of prizes.
For example, to win a car, you have to collect all three Green streets. Regent Street and Oxford Street are easy to find, but there are only 20 of the third piece – Bond Street.
Therefore, if you are lucky enough to find Bond Street, you’ll find it pretty easy to complete the set, as the other two pieces are very common.
This list of rare McDonalds Monopoly pieces shows you which are the hard-to-get properties that you should be on the lookout for.
Of course, you should enter every playing piece into the app, to keep them safe and also to get another chance to win with the digital peel game.
A word of warning
One very important piece of advice for anyone playing McDonald’s Monopoly UK is to keep your winning game pieces secret. Scanning them into the app straight away helped to keep them safe, and you shouldn’t share photos of them to social media.
If you do so, you could have your prize stolen or otherwise invalidate your claim.
The bottom line
For Monopoly fans, McDonalds Monopoly is the highlight of the year. I love peeling back the stickers and collecting the properties even more than I love winning prizes!
Granted, the most I’ve ever won so far has been a free McFlurry or a 1-month TV subscription. But in 2024, who knows!
